I hope they call me on a mission

This is my youngest brother Ryan and he left to the MTC (missionary Training Center) for my church, (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)!  I'm so proud of him.  He was so excited to get out there and felt like being at home his life was on hold.  So on September 16th he went to the  MTC and then October 7th he went to the Atlanta, Georgia.  He's serving in Smyrna, Georgia and is really loving the people and making an impact on the lives that he is coming in contact.  He's always been a real people person and he loves to make friends where ever he is.  Sounds like he's just trying to gain the trust of the members there, so that they will refer their friends for him to help teach the gospel.  I love getting his email to the family each week.  Way to go Ry!

Kherrington 4 month check-up

Ht: 24 inches (32%)
Wt: 13 lbs 6.2 oz (38%)

So Kherrington is a "perfect little baby" as Dr. Adkins says.  She did great with her vaccines again and really her demeanor didn't change too much yesterday. He said that I could start her on cereal if I'd like too, but didn't have too since she was growing and gaining weight as she should.   Go KHERRINGTON!!

Palouse Empire and Latah County Fairs

So if you can't tell we love Fair food, but love to walk through the barns and people watching.  So here are some updates on the other two fairs we attended.

So we also hit the Palouse Empire Fair and just wandered around.  It's not quite the same as when we at home, but it was fun to see ward members and just enjoy the beautiful weather we had that day.  We had invited Renay, Garrett, and Gabe to come with us.  Renay was on call for the PRH, but once they drove into the parking lot.....No Cell Service! Darn it. When we got home we foudn out that Gabe didn't understand we they were going home and why we got to stay!  I felt bad.  I wish we would have kept him with us.  But we didn't really stay long, cause we didn't stay for the Rodeo.

The following weekend though, we got to get with the Vance's and go to the Latah County Fair.  My Mom had come to town a few days before to help babysit for us so she came to.  We got to walk through all the great booths and see all the produce and photos that we always do!  Way fun to be there.  We were sad though as we sat and watched the band and reminisced about Mike and Jen Barnes, our original Latah Fair buddies!!  Can't wait til they move back closer to us, and get out of Connecticut!! Hint Hint!!
I totally took this picture on my iphone and sent it to them.  It was like 9 pm our time.  Didn't think about what time it would be there until after I sent it!!  OOOPS.  Just thought I'd share.

September 7th- SE Idaho Fair

So as my friend Averi said, if you've been to one you been to them all.  Fairs!!  We were able to hit the SE Idaho Fair while we were there for Marcus.  Kherrington did great, she just slept the entire time in her little carrier.

So we can't go to the Fair not eat the greasy DeLiouS Food.  We always have to get a Prime Steer hamburger.  It has ham with the fixing!!  So yummy!  We also have to get a chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick.  They are so stinking rich we share one!  To die for!.  It was great to hang out with family and as always....People Watch!

So on our way out we stopped by my Grandparent's travel trailer to pick up some potatoes for my Mom and Aunt Mel, and to stop for a visit. But we couldn't stay long because we had to get Chad to the airport to fly home.  Well when Chad got to my parent's car that we were borrowing.  We had a flat tire.
So Derik (Chad's nephew) was nice enough to take Chad to the airport and my Uncle Tom and Cousin Braxton who were also at my grandparent's trailer, came with me and changed the tire so I could get home to IF with Kherrington.  It really couldn't have worked better than it did.  It's nice to remember what it's like to be surrounded by family and have that support!!  Even better the tire got repaired without any cost!!  Awesome all the way around.  What can we say We Love The FaiR!!!
